…Says He Won’t Allow Ejiogbe To Function In PMS
Ibadan Society for Justice has called on Governor Seyi Makinde and Otunba Seye Famojuro to beam their searchlights on the activities of Omolewa Tomiwa who has been accused of financial recklessness since he became the substantive Chairman of Oyo Park Management System (PMS).
According to the group which comprises Lawyers and Human Rights Activists said Tommy as the chairman is fondly called looks gentle in appearance but deadly inward.
The group speaking through their Public Relation Officer, Comrade Ahmed Olapitan described Tommy as a greedy man who has started using Oyo State money to builld house, hotels for himself just as his predecessor did.
The alleged that Tommy has been using estate agents to buy houses at Bodija, and Iyaganju GRA by instalments .
Tommy has equally suspended some staff of PMS that were being paid some certain amount of money by his predecessor as a result of his selfishness.
The most annoying thing is that he has picked up a fight against the chairman of defunct NURTW, Abideen Ejiogbe.
He has practically warned Ejiogbe to steer clear of PMS premises saying that even Governor Seyi Makinde and Otunba Seye Famojuro cannot dictate to him on what to do and what he ought not to do.
He has been saying it at the state’s headquarters that this is time to also (jeun soke, kin SE owo baba enikan, owo temi ni) meaning that it’s my time to eat, it’s not anyone’s father’s money but it is my own money.
The group however urged the Oyo Government to employ consultants for revenue collections across all major parks in the state why PMS boys shouldn’t be allowed to collect the money henceforth.
We will start going in Radio, Television, Newspapers and Online news platforms to agitate for his removal if he doesn’t change his ways.
