The Oyo State House of Assembly has suspended the Executive Chairmen of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo and Hon. Taoreed Adedoja of Akinyele Local Government Chairman respectively.
The House clerk read the petitions signed and sent to the House leaders of the council and Leaders of their Council.
The motion for their suspension was thrown to members of the Assembly at Plenary on Tuesday.
The motion for their suspension was moved by the deputy speaker, and Seconded by the Hon. Akintunde.
The House approved that the Vice Chairman should become the acting Chairman while the council’s Secretary takes over as the acting vice chairman and Assistant Secretary pending the conclusion of investigation.
