The 10th Oyo State House of Assembly has announced names of members of its 7 Statutory Committees.
The list of the committee members was made available to newsmen by the new House Committee Chairman on Media and Public Affairs, Hon Akintayo Waheed Kolawole.
In line with the general House rules, the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adebo Ogundoyin is the Chairman House Committee on Selection/Functionaries while the Deputy Speaker, Hon Fadeyi Abiodun Mohammed is the Vice Chairman.
Other members are the House Leader – Hon. Onaolapo Sanjo Adedoyin, the Minority Leader – Hon. Salami Ayinde Waliu, Chief Whip – Hon Oyekola Gbenga Joseph, Deputy House Leader – Hon Samson Olasunkanmi Babalola and Hon Adebayo Babajide Gabriel while the Deputy Clerk of the House Mrs Muraina-Akinola Taiwo Adenike is the Committee Clerk.
The Rules and Business Committee of the House is headed by the Leader of the House, Hon Onaolapo Sanjo Adedoyin while the Minority Leader, Hon Salami Ayinde Waliu is the Vice Chairman.
Other members of the Rules and Business Committee are Hon Oyekola Gbenga Joseph, Hon Adeola Bamidele and Hon Dr. Mrs Olajide Olufunke Comforter while the Deputy Clerk, Mrs Muraina-Akinola Taiwo Adenike is the Committee Clerk.
The Chief Whip, Hon Oyekola Gbenga Joseph is the Chairman of the Ethics and Privileges Committee while Hon Adebisi Yusuf Oladeni is the Vice Chairman.
Other members include Hon Abdul Azeez Musibau, Hon Babalola Abiodun Oluwaseun and Hon Shittu Ibraheem Aremu. The Deputy Clerk, Mrs Muraina- Akinola Taiwo Adenike is the Committee Clerk.
Hon Rahman Olorunpoto Cephas is the Chairman House Committee on Public Petitions and the Vice Chairman of the Committee is Hon Olusola Adewale Owolabi.
The Committee members are Hon Adeola Bamidele, Hon Ogundele Abideen Adeoye, Hon John Lukman Ishola while the Director Legislative Matters, Mr Kehinde Ibrahim is the Committee Clerk.
The House Services Committee is headed by Hon Adebayo Babajide Gabriel while Hon Ojedokun Peter Gbadegesin is the Vice Chairman of the Committee
Hon Oparinde Oladeji, Hon Mrs Oluranti Olubisi Oyewo-Micheal and Hon Ogunsola Anthony Oladejo are members of the Committee while the Deputy Director, Legislative Matters, Mrs Ogundeji Aderonke is the Committee Clerk.
The Public Accounts Committee of the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly is to be chaired by Hon Samson Olasunkanmi Babalola while his Vice is Hon Rahmon Olorunpoto Cephas.
Other members are Hon Salami Ayinde Waliu, Hon Omikunle Olayinka Ayobami and Hon Johnson Ogundare Akintola.
A Senior Legislative Officer, Mr Adetunji Isiaka is the Committee Clerk.
The Media And Public Affairs Committee is headed by Hon Akintayo Waheed Kolawole while Hon Olajide Akintunde Emmanuel is the Vice Chairman of the Committee.
Members are Hon Akande Modiu Opeyemi, Hon Dr Olalere Dawood and Hon Abiola Monsuru Olalekan.
Mr Ojerinde Olufemi, a Senior Legislative Officer is the Committee Clerk.
