Iwajowa Council Boss, Oyinloye Hosts Security Council Meeting, Commends Synergy Between Security and Traditional Rulers (Photos)


The chairman Iwajowa local government, Hon. Abd-jeleel Adebare Oyinloye, today host another edition of the monthly security meeting.

The meeting which was attended by various security outfits, Monarchs and various community leaders to further strengthen the security situation of the local government.

The Sabi-Iganna of Iganna Land, Oba Saliu Oyemonlara Azeez, who’s tye chairman of the traditional rulers in Iwajowa, while speaking pledges the unalloyed support of the traditional rulers throughout the whole of Iwajowa in ensure maximum security.

The DPO of Iganna police division, Insp. Fatai Sanni, Shafriyu Adekunle of Iwere-ile Division and Insp. Kayode, Onuche Jonah of SIB,representatives from the NSCDC, Immigration Service, DSS and Operation Burst.

The Security personnel restated their commitment to providing adequate security to the residents of Iwajowa local government.

The chairman, Hon. Oyinloye while speaking, appreciate the support from both traditional rulers, community leaders and security operatives in Iwajowa in enhancing safety of lives and property.

“sometimes in the past, there’s apprehension and unrest across the whole of Iwajowa, several cases of fila I Herdsmen attack, kidnapping and robbery were rampant, but our security personnel and community leaders worked together with the government to bring relative peace to the community.

“Just few weeks ago, some kidnappers were arrested and paraded by police, our war against insecurity is yielding good result and we’re glad.

He further pledge to ensure that all hands are on deck to further strengthen security situation in the council.
