The House of Reps. candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP for Kajola,Iseyin, Itesiwaju and Iwajowa Federal constituency Hon. Najimdeen Oyesina Oyedeji has declared that if elected he won’t go and built a palatial residence at the outsketch of the town, he’ll still live in his patrimonial family house in Pamo, Okeho, his reason for this is in order for him to be accessible to the people as he is before the election, so he could feel the pain of the people and understand their plight.
He made this declaration while featuring on radio program LAGBO OSELU on OLOFIN online radio in okeho.
Hon Oyeshina Oyedeji who spoke extensively on his antecedent in politics, his personal life and academic life reveal that he was trained as a political science educator from the premier university, where he also got his master’s degree, while undergoing training as a students, he was an active participant in students politics which saw he become the hall chairman for Zik hall and later the assistant general secretary 9f tye students union. He also said that he voluntarily resigned from the union when series of corrupt practices which were against his personal principles were being perpetrated, he’s the first of such.

He worked closely with the late MKO Abiola during his presiential campaign in 1993, he did he was among those that pasted Abiola’s poster from Maiduguri to lagos.
He has been a member of PDP since 1998 when it was formed, he was among the followers of Late Bola I’ve who wrote the party constitution and he has been a committed party man since then.
While Speaking on the issues around his emergence as a consensus candidate of PDP in the constituency, he said “I wasn’t the first and only person to have been favored by consensus arrangement, I was told to step down for ADLAK in 2014 and I obliged and across Oyo state, only few place do we have primaries, because consensus is more peaceful and it promotes unity in the party”
While taking about the things he wish to do for the people if elected, he mention a genuine and real time empowerment which will Adress the core needs of individuals and things that help them gain financial independence, ” empowerment is not about distributing Okada to youths who have been to university to acquire formal education, what they need is a good job, we won’t give sprayer to a person who’s not into agric practice, we’ll attend to individuals based on their needs” “I know the nooks and crannies of Okeho and every other communities that makes up this federal constituency, I know where road is needed and I know where they need a drainage system, we have 531 polling unit and 42 wards in our federal constituency, all these weren’t given to us, they are data’s we obtained by ourselves in the process”
He also promised to support Olofin Radio get registered and licensed to transmit properly aside using online medium.
While talking about some aggrieved members 9f PDP who left for another party, he said ” our relationship has been more like brothers and less political, so regardless of our political difference, we’re still very good together and I believe they won’t do anything against my interest”
On the Okeho-Ifoere road, he assured the people of Okeho and environs that the governor is working on it as himself, the council chairman and the king’s have not spared on moment without reminding the governor, as a federal road, there are many bureaucratic bottleneck that is holding the government back, but he believes very soon, work would begin on the road.
Several other issues affecting the community such as electricity, he equally promised to work with the commissioner for energy to ensure that the spoilt transformers are replaced very soon.
He used the opportunity to appeal to the people 9f Kajola and the other three councils that makes up the federal constituency to give him the requires support to achieve this in order to bring a quality representation to our community.
